Here are just a few ideas of how you might be able help right now:

Logo
Expected outcome:
A more professionally drawn logo (we like the logo but it is put together in a very basic package).
Skills involved:
IT design skills
Time involved:
Anything from an hour or two upwards at a guess!

          People Stories
Expected outcome:
Stories about the day to day lives of different professions in Uganda. All the information has been collected, so they simply need to be written up into interesting stories. There are lots to do, so you could do one or fifteen!
Skills involved:
Typing, creative writing
Time involved:
A story could take anything between 15 minutes and 2 hours to write up, and you could volunteer to do one or twenty, so even your lunch break could be plenty long enough to help out!

          School Profiles
Expected outcome:
Profiles of all the schools LBA has ever worked with (see the schools in Uganda page for some examples). Information has been collected, it needs to be put together in an interesting story, which will then be put on the website.
Skills involved:
Typing, creative writing
Time involved:
A profile could take anything between one to four hours to write up, and you could volunteer to do one or twenty, so even your lunch break could be plenty long enough to help out!

          Research into Alternative Technologies
Expected outcome:
Report on the technologies including design, appropriateness, cost etc
Skills involved:
Research skills, internet use, interest in technologies/Water & Sanitation
Time involved:
Quite a lot.

          Ex-volunteer Updates
Expected outcome:
One line updates on what ex-volunteers are up to, every six months or so
Skills involved:
A bit of organisation. Would best suit an ex-LBA volunteer
Time involved:
Very little really, though you would probably need to commit to one year or so. You could take it on for either your volunteer year, or several years, or all the years.
