Kath Hetherington arrives in Uganda to begin a 6 month volunteer placement based in Butiru, Manafwa. |

The first University Summer Project group arrives in Uganda and begins their 8 day training in Mbale. Participants are from universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde.
Once they are in country their adventures will be online on the 2013 Volunteer Journal.
The second University Summer Project group arrives in Uganda and begins their 8 day training in Mbale. Participants are from universities of Lancaster and Nottingham. |

The third University Summer Project group arrives in Uganda and begins thir 8 day training in Mbale. Participants are from the universities of Oxford and Bristol. The University Summer Project will see the completion of 7 water sources and 8 water tanks in rural communities in Manafwa. |
